Obama convention

So we are trying to get tickets to go see Barak Obama give his acceptance speech in Denver next month. I think that would be so exciting. But I am taken back by the cost of flying just 600 miles. All the airlines want almost $500 to fly us there. Also finding a hotel in Denver is very hard. Even the super 8 wants $200/night. We did find the Motel 6 for a good price. But I am kinda scared to stay there, but ALL the good hotels are sold out or want BIG bucks. So we reserved the motel 6(100% refundable), in case we don't find any better place to stay. Now we just have to wait for the convention tickets to become available. This will be a great experience.

T-Shirt

Crystela and I bought Barak Obama '08 shits. I went out yesterday sporting my Obama'08 shirt and I have never had so many people say "I like you shirt." I found it strange. But I guess thats good, so many people like Obama. Even in McSame's home state.

I found this web page at http://www.squawkvfr.net/ that broadcasts air traffic control communications. One of the airports they broadcast is Scottsdale, where I work. Now that I know this i feel a little self conscience at work. I mean how many people could be listing to me all over the world.
